Pune : MIM Lok Sabha candidate Anis Sundke has declared that a memorial to Tipu Sultan will be built-in Pune.
Reacting to this, BJP metropolis device President Dheeraj Ghate said, “We will not likely allow the memorial to be created on Pune’s land below any situation. We are going to lodge a police criticism In this particular regard.”
He was addressing a push fulfill in the city on Sunday. BJP Election Management Committee Coordinator Shrinath Bhimale, Patit Pavan Sanghatana’s Swapnil Naik, Datta Khade, Maha website Yuti Coordinator Sandeep Khardekar, Joint Publicity Main Pushkar Tuljapukar and others ended up present.
Ghate stated, “The BJP strongly opposes the proposed memorial to Tipu Sultan. He tortured the Hindus. Sundke is attempting to drive a wedge among two communities by raising the memorial challenge in the elections. lots of people tried to rejoice the start anniversary of Tipu Sultan. The BJP vehemently opposed it. We won’t permit this to happen at any Expense.”
Ghate mentioned, “Pune is known as a cultural centre. a lot of historic personalities had been linked to it. Tipu Sultan wasn't a fantastic chief. He killed Many Hindu Males and ladies. Hindutva outfits will never enable the memorial to come up. We'll approach the police. it is actually an attempt to polarise votes. The BJP strongly condemns this.”
